Board Member Search

Possessing a complementary mix of talent on the board is fundamental to its optimal operation: the key is in finding experienced executives with distinctive strategic competences – but who also represent something new and dynamic that breaks the mould.

We at IMS Talent bring diversity to the client’s board of directors by presenting them with executives who might not otherwise appear in candidate lists. We aim to widen the candidate pool and have access, for example, to networks of leading female executives across various industries.

Board Evaluations

The objective for board evaluations is to support the Chairman of the Board and the Nomination Committee to evaluate the effectiveness of board operations, its members’ competencies and potential areas of development.

Prior to joining IMS Talent he worked 16 years as President and CEO of one of the largest listed banking and insurance groups in Finland.

Prior to his banking career he worked in senior finance positions in the industrial field at a listed group which is the global leader in complete lifecycle power solutions for the marine and energy markets.

Mikael specializes in CEO and Executive Committee Member level searches as well as Board Member recruitments.

Senior Consultant

Heidi has extensive experience in recruiting and assessing senior talent as well as building winning teams in M&A and restructuring situations.

Before joining IMS Talent she worked as VP Human Resources in a leading media and search company in Finland.

Heidi carries out searches for demanding executive and managerial positions for private, public and listed companies as well as private equity. She also specializes in leadership assessments and management team evaluation processes.

Mimma is the founder and Managing Partner of IMS Talent. Since 1986 she has successfully executed hundreds of senior level search assignments across numerous industries and functions.

For years Mimma has acted as a trusted advisor for companies in building successful leadership teams.

Mimma has always been an active professional networker. She is the co-founder of Board Professionals Finland and acted as its president for several years. She is also a board member in the Finnish Executive Search Firms’ Association.
